Berry Springs Advisory Committee
The Berry Springs Water Advisory Committee (BWAC) has been established to help identify issues, review information and provide advice to the Territory Government throughout the development of the Berry Springs Water Allocation Plan.
The committee’s focus will be on sustainably managing the use of groundwater from the Berry Springs Dolostone Aquifer.

The purpose of the Berry Springs Water Advisory Committee is to advise the Controller of Water Resources on the effectiveness of the forthcoming Berry Springs Water Allocation Plan in maximising economic and social benefits of water use, within ecological constraints and other matters.
Members of the Berry Springs Water Advisory Committee were appointed in June 2011 by the Northern Territory Government.
The role of members is to represent their specific stakeholder group and provide advice and recommendations on the water allocation plan to be developed for the Berry Springs Water Planning Area.
